Aims

We represent the interests of parents who look after their  children at home and whose families consequently live on one income.   The organisation therefore has three core aims:

• To promote understanding of the child’s need for a mother at home
• To campaign for changes in the tax and benefits system and employment policy to give more women the choice to be mothers at home
• To enhance the status and self-esteem of mothers at home

The above constitutional aims, within whose remit we strive to remain, provide plenty of scope for activities by our committee members and active members on whose help we are able to call.

As  individuals or as an organisation we put these aims across to the public whenever we can through public forums, letters to national papers and media participation.

We send our Newsletter to supportive journalists, politicians and other organisations and foster contacts wherever possible, both in the UK and the wider European context.
