MembershipWe are a membership organisation and are solely funded by membership fees and donations. We receive no government funding and have no political or religious affiliations. Our success as an organisation depends on your support and enthusiasm. Why become a Member? Becoming a member entitles you to receive our high-quality newsletter three times a year by post, to read in the comfort of your own home. We may also send you information by email which is relevant to our cause to keep you up-to-date. You may also have skills to offer, you may contribute to our newsletter, you may (as an individual) want to seize relevant opportunities to write to papers and take part in radio phone-in programmes. If you are especially interested in this aspect of our work then become a member and let us send you a media form. Our annual Open Meeting, followed by the AGM is always interesting and a good occasion to meet like-minded people. In the past we have had speakers such as Sue Palmer, who always reaffirm and reinspire us. The current membership fee stands at £10 per year, but concessions are available.
